The Red Shoes is one of my top 5 favorite movies, and it has been for so many years that I feel like it's a part of me. I love the romance, the aesthetic of the movie as a whole, and of the ballet costumes, ballet shoes, hair styles, and so on and so forth. I love that we get to see snippets from so many great ballets. Swan Lake, Coppelia, La Boutique Fantastique. And, we get to see the ballet of The Red Shoes in its entirety. A real treat.
